This summer, Brown Harris Stevens Hamptons is partnering with the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation (SWCRF) in a global walk to flatten the cancer curve.
The event will begin with a June 25 kickoff celebration, which will be followed by a two-week “virtual hike” hosted by Charity Footprints. Our agents will log their progress through their phone or FitBit while they engage in their favorite physical activities in any setting, be it at home or out and about.
Participants will also encourage their friends and family to donate by sharing their progress, all with the goal of raising awareness and funds for cancer research.
The Virtual Walk will culminate with a Hamptons Happening event on July 10, where participants will gather to celebrate their accomplishments and toast to the foundation’s meaningful work.
Founded in 1976, the SWCRF’s mission is to eradicate cancer by funding collaborative, cross-institutional research to identify and correct genetic markers for cancer. To date, the foundation has funded approximately $100 million in cancer research. Read more about the SWCRF.
