Palm beach island restaurants

In addition to being a mecca for luxury retail and real estate, Palm Beach Island is rapidly becoming a landmark for fine dining, with top chefs from New York City and other places flocking to the island to open restaurants, cafes and more.

Here are some must-try Palm Beach restaurants, as recommended by our Brown Harris Stevens Palm Beach agents.

Recommended to Whitney McGurk, Imoto is a locally owned restaurant that doubles as a popular nightlife venue. The creative menu includes Asian small plates and sushi. Inspired by Buccan, its parent restaurant next door, the restaurant's chef Clay Coney studied his craft while living and working in Tokyo.

Easily our most highly recommended restaurant on Palm Beach Island, Liza Pulitzer noted Le Bilboquet was a "top contender" for the area's best restaurant. With popular locations in New York's Upper East Side and the Hamptons, it's no wonder the restaurant's arrival to Worth Avenue was hotly awaited. Its menu of decadent French hors d'oeuvres and entrees are all crafted with the highest-quality ingredients.

Recommended by John Pickett for its semi-casual atmosphere and delicious food, Trevini is a white-tablecloth Italian restaurant serving fresh food that tastes straight out of your nonna's kitchen. From comforting pasta e fagiole soup to gnocchi drenched in a pesto cream sauce, Trevini's menu is perfect for those seeking elevated Italian fare in a relaxed setting.

La goulue - french restaurant - palm beach

Another NYC institution, La Goulue was recommended by several agents, including Whitney McGurk, who mentioned it was one of many top NYC restaurants expanding to the island. It opened in Palm Beach last year and is popular for its elegant French cuisine served in a bistro-chic setting. In addition to a lively brunch menu complete with cocktails, the restaurant serves up a variety of imported meats and cheeses.

With a romantic interior and outdoor dining in a picturesque, Mediterranean-inspired courtyard, Renatos brings all the elegance and flavor of Italian to Palm Beach. Also recommended by Liza Pulitzer, the restaurant's menu includes several options for pasta and risotto, including the classic pennette alla caprese, as well as an extensive wine list.

Specializing in contemporary Milanese cuisine, Sant Ambroeus is an intimate restaurant that is perfect for a date night or quiet conversation with loved ones. Impeccably crafted pizzas, pastas, and seafood dishes are complimented by a wine list that comprises nearly 50 selections. Also a must-try is the gelato, which many attest is the closest you can get to true Italian gelato.
